AIC initially began as a forum for those who wanted to incorporate implantology into their dental practice but didn’t know how or where to begin. Experienced mentors who were eager to share their knowledge met with dental professionals yearning to enhance their skills and provide more options for patient treatment. As membership grew by leaps and bounds the forum quickly evolved into a formal education program that focused on scientific-based instruction, standardized techniques, and the development of a network of continuing peer support.
